About this file
This Addendum 1 clarifies procurement details for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Babcock/Webb WMA SAL Materials solicitation (FWC 25/26-22), a one-time supply bid for construction materials delivery to the Babcock/Webb Wildlife Management Area. The solicitation requires vendors to supply and deliver approximately 290 tons of 6"-12" riprap, 113 tons of 24" limestone boulders (with ±6 inches variance allowable), 56 tons of 36" limestone boulders (with ±6 inches variance allowable), and 263 tons of #57 stone to designated stockpiling locations. Although the 24" and 36" limestone boulders may be delivered mixed, the purchase order will list material sizes and quantities separately according to specification. All materials will be stockpiled and not spread. The sealed bid submission deadline is November 25, 2025, at 2:30 PM ET, with the public bid opening scheduled for the same date and time at 1875 Orange Avenue East, Tallahassee, Florida, or via teleconference (1.888.585.9008, room 218-721-199). The anticipated award date is December 8, 2025. All work must be completed within three months of Purchase Order issuance, no later than June 1, 2026.
No performance bond is required for this procurement. Bidders must submit sealed bids to the FWC Purchasing Office at 1875 Orange Avenue East, Tallahassee, Florida 32311-6160 and must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to bid opening. Vendors should reference the original solicitation documents for complete specifications, pricing sheets, reference requirements, and all certification obligations including E-Verify verification. The estimated project budget is $75,000, with award to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total price. The contract includes financial penalties, consisting of a 10 percent reduction in payment for failure to produce deliverables within the specified timeframe and liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day of delay, except where delay is beyond the contractor's control.
