About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Watertown Public Schools in Massachusetts for a Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) Testing Program. The RFP seeks a provider to conduct approximately 500-600 tests per week across the Watertown Public Schools district, which has one central testing site but may require the provider's nurses to travel to any of the district's six buildings to collect samples. The RFP specifies that billing will be directly to the Watertown Public Schools and not to patients or insurance companies. The Addendum addresses several questions from potential bidders, clarifying that the district is only interested in proposals for molecular PCR tests and is not considering a point-of-care option or combination flu/Covid-19 tests. The bid opening date is September 28, 2020 at 10:00 am.

The Addendum does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent providers, funding requirements or sources, or other salient commercial information. It focuses solely on clarifying the technical requirements and scope of the Covid-19 testing program for the Watertown Public Schools district.
