About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Chiefland Maintenance Employment Services. The ITB solicits written bids from qualified vendors to establish a contract for these services. Sealed bids are due by 2:00 pm on April 28, 2022, and will be opened publicly at 2:30 pm the same day. This is the first time FDOT is bidding this contract, with an estimated budget of $300,000. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor to provide an unknown number of employees based on the Department's needs and available funding.

The Addendum provides answers to 17 questions from prospective bidders, clarifying that there are no incumbent vendors or current contracts, no employees working under the contract currently, and that pricing information from any previous contracts is not available. The Addendum also reiterates that FDOT plans to award a single contract as a result of this solicitation.
