About this file
This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid No. ITB FFS 23 24 78 issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for the 2023-2024 Babcock Ranch Preserve Initial Exotic Plant Treatment project. The project involves herbicide treatment of invasive exotic plants across 1,831 acres of the Babcock Ranch Preserve in Charlotte County, Florida. The addendum provides answers to vendor questions, including allowing the use of drones for inspecting the treatment area due to unseasonable weather. It also states that if the project is downsized due to budget constraints, the contract will be put back out for rebid.
The contract opportunity is open to vendors interested in providing herbicide treatment services. Pricing terms, set asides, or specific funding requirements are not detailed in the addendum. However, the document notes that protests related to this procurement must be filed with the FDACS Agency Clerk in Tallahassee, Florida within the time prescribed by state statute.
