About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Invitation to Bid (RFB-52-26) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements at Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg, Kentucky. The addendum modifies the project specifications and drawing requirements for the exterior lighting improvements project. Key modifications include requirements for the contractor to remove all existing building-mounted and ground-mounted lights including flag lights; authorization of directional boring as an acceptable conduit installation method at a minimum depth of 24 inches with the contractor responsible for utility locates and any repairs; revision of one pole designation from "P20R" to "P20" due to the absence of a receptacle and presence of an RV plug on a concrete pier; specification that pole lighting circuits operate at 208-volt, two-pole configuration using existing conduit and wiring if reusable, or new materials if necessary to meet National Electrical Code standards; and restrictions on pull box placement prohibiting their installation in roadways or sidewalks, with any pull boxes in grassy areas required to be Quazite 18x24 heavy duty closed bottom Tier 15 units with "ELECTRICAL" covers, coordinated with the engineer and installed to meet State Electrical Inspector and NEC code requirements.
The addendum references Drawing SE1.01 (Site Electrical Plan) from E-Tech Consultants, PLLC consulting engineers and directs all bidders to refer to additional addendum materials to be distributed by Lynn Imaging for all additions, deletions, and changes to specifications and drawings. The addendum was issued September 8, 2025, with Project Number 520-CC1H-CB02-02 and RFB number RFB-785-2600000079. Janis Wilhoite, Statewide Procurement Analyst II, serves as the point of contact for the Division of Engineering and Contract Administration.
