About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-54-26) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements at Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The addendum, prepared by E-Tech Consultants, PLLC, provides five specific modifications to the original bid documents, focusing on the Site Electrical Plan (Drawing SE1.01). Key changes include instructions for removing existing building and ground-mounted lights, permitting directional boring for conduit installation with a minimum 24-inch depth, specifying pull box requirements, removing the existing site lighting Timer/Contactor, and clarifying light fixture installation details.

The addendum does not include specific pricing information or funding sources. It is primarily a technical clarification document that provides additional guidance to potential contractors bidding on the exterior lighting improvement project. The modifications aim to ensure clear expectations for the project's electrical work, utility considerations, and installation methods, with an emphasis on compliance with State Electrical Inspector and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. No attachments or drawings were included with this addendum.
