The project involves exterior upgrades and repairs for the Funderburk Building at the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky. The addendum is dated August 21, 2025, and provides clarifications and responses to bidder questions regarding the project. The construction start date is anticipated to begin upon completion of contracting with the accepted bidder.
The addendum resolves specific questions about project specifications, particularly concerning brick masonry and lighting fixtures. Specifically, it clarifies that there will be no allowance for brick, and contractors must include brick costs in their bid, with Glengary Shenandoah modular size brick (or approved equal) specified. Regarding lighting fixtures, the document references a fixture schedule on Sheet U1.0 that indicates acceptable models, resolving conflicting notes about fixture removal, relocation, or installation. The addendum provides critical guidance for potential bidders by addressing discrepancies in the original bid documents and offering definitive responses to technical questions.
