About this file
This Addendum 1 document is issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for the Invitation to Bid No. FFS 24 25 146 regarding Lime Rock Base and Limestone Road Material for the Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest. The addendum clarifies several key details for potential vendors, including delivery requirements and material specifications. Specifically, the material needs to be furnished and delivered to the state forest's material storage site, with a revised delivery deadline of May 30, 2025, and an invoice deadline of June 2, 2025. Tractor trailers are permitted for delivery, and no bond is required for this project.
The addendum provides critical specifications for the road materials, stipulating that both the base rock and #57 Limestone Stone must meet or exceed Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications. The base rock is confirmed as 3.5" minus, and no double-crushed limestone is needed. While specific FDOT item codes for the limestone gravel and lime rock base are currently unknown, the document emphasizes compliance with FDOT standards. Vendors are instructed to contact the Purchasing Office at (850) 617-7181 or Bids@FDACS.gov for any additional questions, with a clear process outlined for potential protests in accordance with Florida Statutes.
