About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) C5612631-D issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Division of Administrative Services for Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Consultation Services. The addendum addresses questions received during the Letter of Inquiry period and maintains the bid submission deadline of February 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Key requirements include current RESNA Assistive Technology Professional certification and current Assistive Technology Specialist certification. Bidders must provide either a business license from their city/county of headquarters (if located in California) or incorporation documents/good standing papers from their respective state (if located outside California).
The addendum clarifies that bidders can satisfy the proof of experience requirement by either submitting Attachment 1 (Contractor Experience form) or providing three letters of professional reference. It also confirms that the Contractor Certification Clauses (CCC 04/2017) are included in the original bid package on page 65. The full bid package can be accessed through the California State Contracts Register (CSCR) at caleprocure.ca.gov.

RE: INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) NUMBER C5612631-D, ADDENDUM NUMBER 1
The IFB Letter of Inquiry period has concluded for C5612631-D, Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Consultation Services, and the questions and responses are available below. Answers can be found in italicized font.
You may view or download a copy of the IFB document(s) by accessing the California State Contracts Register (CSCR) at https://caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/index.aspx.
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submission of bids remains unchanged for February 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Letter of Inquiry Questions and Answers:
1. Original Contractor Certification Clauses (CCC 04/2017) – The first page must be signed and submitted prior to the award of the contract. I don’t see this attached to the bidding package.
Please refer to IFB Package C5612631-D, page 65. CCC 04/2017 is included in the bid package.
2. I attached my certified letter to this email and wanted to make sure this document is a valid letter for my corporation.
Per the IFB Package C5612631-D, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, page 22, it states in part, “If you are a Contractor located within the State of California, a business license from the city/county in which you are headquartered is necessary. However, if you are a corporation, a copy of your incorporation documents/letter from the Secretary of State’s Office can be submitted. If you are a Contractor outside the State of California, you will need to include a copy of your business license or incorporation papers form your respective state showing that your company is in good standing in that state.
• Current Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) Assistive Technology Professional certification
• Current Assistive Technology Specialist certification”
Per this language, corporations may submit incorporation documents/letter from the Secretary of State’s office to meet this requirement. Please ensure the other current certifications listed are also submitted per the requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). You may also refer to the Bid Submittal Checklist located within the IFB.

Addendum 1
3. Proof of experience on the check list states, “minimum of three (3) letters of professional” so do I need to have the contact persons on Attachment 1 write a recommendation letter or do I just fill out the form?
In IFB C5612631-D, Attachment 1, Contractor Experience, form is to be filled out and signed by the prospective bidder. This has been provided in reference to the minimum three (3) letters of professional references. Attachment 1, Contractor Experience can be submitted or the three (3) letters of professional references.
