About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Electrical Repairs and Services in Alameda and Santa Clara Counties. The IFB requests bids for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, travel, vehicles, and incidentals necessary to perform routine and non-routine electrical services. There will not be a job walk, and all required documents are provided in the IFB. The bid does not have a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goal or incentive, and the ultimate price is not to exceed $461,000. Bids are due with the full understanding of this Addendum, and the contract term is not specified.

The IFB requires bidders to possess a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and a Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) license in an appropriate classification. Caltrans will verify the bidders' DIR registration and CSLB license, so copies are not required to be submitted. There is no interested bidders list available.
