About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Administration Division of Procurement and Contracts for Electrical Repairs and Services in Contra Costa and Solano Counties. The addendum responds to a question regarding bid bonds, noting that bidders should refer to Section C.15 of the IFB for requirements. The contract will provide a safe, sustainable, integrated, and efficient transportation system to enhance California's economy and livability.
The IFB requires contractors to possess valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and a Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license appropriate for the work. Caltrans will verify these registrations and licenses. The contract will be for electrical services, including routine and non-routine work, in the Contra Costa and Solano County areas. Bids are due in response to this IFB, but no specific due date is provided.
