ADDENDUM ONE
GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER AUTHORITY
Building B Level 4 Meeting Room Carpet Replacement
RFP # GWCCA072324MM
Addendum Issue Date: August 14th, 2024
From: Georgia World Congress Center Authority Purchasing Office 285 International Boulevard NW Atlanta, Georgia 30313
Addendum 1 is hereby issued to incorporate the following as requirements of the Request for Proposal, 072324MM:
1. What are the liquidated damages per day price is set at? Daily/$500.
2. One of the rooms near 405 was missing a number. Please confirm what room this one is connected to? All rooms are labeled. B405-B407 is one large room when air walls are opened.
3. Please confirm if all area walls will be removed? All air walls will be opened during this process. There is not an air wall closet, so air wall panels sit along the side wall when opened. Bases will be raised on all air wall panels, and we can move along air wall tracks as needed to access walls for carpet base installation.
4. During the site visit a mention of an engineer came out to inspect the condition of the foundation of the floor. Please confirm if any elevation or subfloor issues were found. There are no expansion joints in these rooms.
5. Once the project begins and a demo has started if any extra floor prep or leveling is required will the buyer pay the extra charge or will we have to stay strictly based on our bid. These situations will be managed if/as they arise.
6. Will GWCC (buyer) be willing to pay an advance or progress payment per cent to begin the project? No, payment is distributed after work is completed.
7. In section B bid form B-08, What does credit available for this contract mean? This is the amount of financial credit or funding that is accessible to a specific contract or agreement.
8. Are we able to send in a cashier's check for the bid bond or does it have to be issued by an insurance agency? This is referenced in Section A-06.
This addendum will be a part of RFP#072324MM and modifies the original proposal documents dated July 23rd, 2024 as noted.
NOTE: A signed acknowledgement of this addendum should be received by this office prior to the due date or should be attached to your proposal. A signature on this addendum does not constitute your signature on the original proposal document.
