About this file

This is an Addendum #1 to a sealed bid solicitation issued by the City of Peachtree City, Georgia Police Department for aftermarket accessories for Ford police vehicles. The addendum addresses clarifications regarding Truckvault equipment specifications for ten Ford vehicles across five unique configurations. Key modifications include removal of the radio tray requirement for the Interceptor Utility SUV due to clearance constraints with 2020 and newer models, with the city directing bidders to reference the manufacturer's specifications directly. For the Ford F-150 Responder vehicle, the city specified that the standard bed length is 5 feet 6 inches, with a 145.4-inch wheelbase in the SuperCrew configuration, as provided by Ford Motor Company specifications. The addendum was issued on November 11, 2021.

The addendum does not include pricing information, contract terms, set-asides, award dates, or funding details. Rather, it serves as a clarification document to address specific technical questions raised by bidders regarding equipment compatibility and specifications. Bidders are directed to reference Section 1 and Section 3 of the original Invitation to Bid for comprehensive specifications and requirements. The document confirms that the city will not be providing detailed drawings and expects bidders to access manufacturer specifications directly for accurate equipment design and installation planning.

ADDENDUM #1

1. QUESTION: I would like to request a Truckvault drawing for the items bid.

CITY’S RESPONSE: The City will not be supplying this. Specifications of requested equipment are taken from, and can be directly accessed, from the manufacturer.

2. QUESTION: On the Int SUV, Truckvault said: 2 Drawer Investigators on Lift.

However, for 2020+ we cannot do a radio tray version as there isn’t enough clearance under the floor and 2 stacked drawers are too tall to allow us to raise it up and still fit the tray. I recommend either dropping the radio tray or changing this to a 1 drawer version or an elevated + Foam.?

CITY’S RESPONSE:

Refer to Section 1 of the Invitation to bid. Refer to the section called Truck Vault.

Delete/Remove the requirement for “With Radio Tray.”

3. QUESTION: The F-150 they will need to know bed length.

CITY’S RESPONSE:

• Also refer to Section 3 of the Invitation to bid. Under Truck Vault – Qty 1, for Vehicle 2: - Built to fit a standard 2022 Ford F-150 Responder with standard 5’ 6” bed length.

• The vehicle’s dimensions in the specified 2022 F150 Responder package, as provided by Ford Motor Company is a 145.4 inch wheelbase. In the SuperCrew (4 full sized doors) configuration, 145.4 inch wheelbase is 5’ 6” bed length.
