About this file
This is Addendum 1 to a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) solicitation issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for Pavement Evaluation services supporting Interstate Maintenance operations. The solicitation is divided into three separate contracts: Contract 1 covers Region 1, District 7; Contract 2 covers Region 2, Districts 1, 3, and 6; and Contract 3 covers Region 3, Districts 2, 4, and 5. Qualified firms and organizations are invited to submit SOQs demonstrating their capability to perform pavement evaluation services across these designated regions and districts. The addendum modifies or clarifies specific requirements, terms, or procedures outlined in the original solicitation documents.
The addendum content itself is not detailed in the provided excerpt, which limits the ability to identify specific modifications regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding amounts, or other material changes. Potential respondents should review this addendum in conjunction with the original solicitation documents to understand all requirements, evaluation criteria, submission procedures, and any updates to previously published information that may affect their proposal preparation and submission.

4. Section II; p. 3 Is there a breakdown of weightage of points that will be carried over from Phase I to Phase II?
RFQ, Page 4, Section IV. Selection Criteria for Phase I;
and Page 5, Section V. Selection Criteria for Phase II identifies each Criteria for Evaluation and the breakdown of percentage weights for each Phase.
RFQ, Page 3, Section II.Item E. Final Selection:
Final selection will be determined by carrying the scores from Phase I forward for each Finalist and by evaluating the Technical Approach and Past Performance criteria for Phase II. The Selection Committee will discuss the Finalist’s Phase II Responses and the final rankings will be determined.
5. Section VI C 5. p. 7 Some firms providing specialty testing, as a key team member, (such as TSD) as a subconsultant to the prime may not be prequalified with GDOT, as GDOT does not have specific area class for this kind of specialty testing.
Can these specialized subconsultants work directly under the Prime’s umbrella (Prime that is prequalified in the listed area classes)?
If yes, will listing the subconsultant with NO prequals on the team, result in disqualification?
GDOT does not have an area class for this specific work, therefore no Area class is required.
Yes.
No.
6. There are 6 area classes identified where the prime and/or team must be prequalified. None of these area classes identify TSD testing; therefore, it is our understanding that ARRB Systems doesn’t need to be prequalified. Can you please confirm if that is correct?
To be clear, ARRB is not prequalified in any of the 6 area classes identified in the RFQ and ARRB’s role will be limited to providing TSD data collection services only.
