About this file
This document is an Addendum to RFP #25019 for Rural ROW Tractor Mowing, issued by the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia. The RFP seeks to provide supplemental mowing and additional service options within the right-of-way on the rural roads of Athens-Clarke County to achieve an aesthetically pleasing appearance and a safe roadway for pedestrians and vehicles. The addendum addresses several questions from prospective bidders, including the estimated cost range of $90,000 to $130,000 for the 50-mile stretch, confirmation that the mileage stretches include both sides of the road, and that the work was previously conducted in-house by ACC employees. The addendum also clarifies that the first mowing cycle would be in April 2025, and that the contract will be awarded within 6 weeks of the bid closing.
The addendum notes that the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and that any inquiries should be directed to the Community Business Procurement Coordinator. The RFP is for a state and local contract opportunity in Georgia, specifically within the jurisdiction of Bacon County.
