About this file

This document is an Addendum to Request for Proposal (RFP) 21-0001 for District-Wide Alarm Monitoring Services issued by the Business Services Procurement and Contracting department of the Beaverton School District in Oregon. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide fire alarm monitoring and intrusion alarm monitoring services. The addendum modifies the original RFP by providing clarifications to questions submitted by potential proposers, including details on the make and model of existing fire alarm and security equipment, communication methods, panel versions, and dispatch protocols. The closing date for proposals has been changed to May 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time.

The RFP covers multiple jurisdictions within the state of Oregon, specifically Douglas County. It outlines the required services, including fire alarm monitoring, intrusion alarm monitoring, and environmental alarm monitoring, and requests that proposers provide dispatch services in accordance with the district's established protocols. The awarded contract is expected to have a 1-2 month transition period following the contract award.
