About this file
This document is an Addendum to the 2024 LMIG Resurfacing project for McDuffie County and the City of Thomson in Georgia. The Addendum extends the Completion Date for the contract from October 31, 2024 to April 30, 2025, and adjusts the associated liquidated damages clause accordingly. It also clarifies the scope of work for shoulder building, manhole/valve adjustments, and striping requirements. The Revised Bid Schedule provides updated unit quantities and line items. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024, and the lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be awarded separate contracts with McDuffie County and the City of Thomson.
The contract pricing is to remain firm for the duration of the contract, which is to begin upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and continue through April 30, 2025. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic control requirements, with associated costs to be included in the overall bid. Payment for shoulder building and grassing will be under the Grading per Mile item for McDuffie County roads only, as the City of Thomson will not require those activities.
