About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for the Northville Public Schools (NPS) Furniture and Equipment Moving 2019 project, issued on March 11, 2019, with bids due on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The addendum provides updated specifications for a moving contract that involves relocating furniture, computers, and equipment across multiple school sites, including NHS (Northville High School), Amerman, and Hillside. Key project details include moving approximately 60 computers in speed paks, relocating chairs within the forum, protecting flooring at NHS for stored materials, and retrieving unsold items from TC in a full trailer during the week of July 22.
The addendum includes several specific instructions for the moving contractor, such as using elevators with weight restrictions, avoiding disposal of garbage furniture in open dumpsters, providing color-coded labels, and understanding that NPS will handle TV monitor and audio-visual equipment removal in certain areas. The project does not require bonds, and the moving company will be responsible for disconnecting and moving computers between sites. The scope appears to be a comprehensive moving and relocation effort focused on preparing school facilities for potential reorganization or renovation during the summer of 2019.
