This is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #11A4076 for Weed and Brush Abatement Services in Imperial and Riverside Counties. The addendum modifies the original bid document, specifically referencing changes to Exhibit A, Section 8, A, 2. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and safety equipment, including both hand and power tools such as hoes, rakes, shovels, pruners, saws, and weed whips. The Caltrans Contract Manager will determine the specific days, hours, and locations for service through individual Service Requests. The contractor must also provide basic safety equipment for crew members, including hard hats, vests, safety glasses, and gloves. The payment terms and additional details are to be specified in Exhibit B and Attachment 1 of the contract.
