About this file

This document is an addendum to Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2024 STS-31: Sidewalk Repairs issued by the City of Statesboro, Georgia. The ITB solicits bids from qualified contractors to replace sidewalk and driveways at various locations throughout the city. The work includes clearing, excavating, setting grade, concrete forming, concrete pouring, and traffic/erosion control. The solicitation requires a pre-bid conference on June 4, 2024 and sealed bids must be submitted by 3:00 PM on June 18, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read on the same day. The addendum clarifies that the dimensions of each repair area are not specified, and the City will accept 3000 psi concrete rather than matching existing shell-topped sidewalks.

The ITB is for the City of Statesboro, located in Bulloch County, Georgia. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if necessary. Pricing terms, set asides, funding sources, and other commercial details are not provided in the addendum, but would be found in the original ITB document.

SOLICITATION TITLE: SIDEWALK REPAIRS

DUE DATE: TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024 AT 3:00 PM EST

THIS DOCUMENTATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR SUBMITTED SEALED BID FOR THE BID TO BE CONSIDERED.

1. Are the dimensions at each areas specific? For example: 202 Zetterower, significant cracking and damage to each driveway is evident but not listed. Please advise.

Also, existing sidewalk has shell topping embedded. Are we matching existing or going back with straight 3000psi concrete?

The dimensions at each area are not specific, each area of concern will be different and we are just going back with 3000 psi concrete in all areas.

2. If the driveway aprons are in need of repair at the sidewalk locations, then they need to be included in the bid for repairs also.
