About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) #07A6286 issued by the California Department of Transportation, Division of Procurement and Contracts, for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The addendum, issued on March 17, 2026, updates the original IFB requirements and clarifies specifications for Mini Split System equipment and furnace/evaporator unit replacement scope. A mandatory site inspection sign-in sheet is required as part of the bidding process. The addendum addresses specific technical questions regarding equipment preferences and replacement scope, establishing that bidders may use Mitsubishi, LG, or equivalent Mini Split Systems, and that the project scope includes replacement of the evaporator unit while retaining the existing furnace.
The addendum provides clarification on equipment specifications in response to bidder inquiries but does not present detailed pricing information, set-aside requirements, incumbent contractor status, or contract term details within this document. All other terms and conditions from the original IFB remain in effect. Prospective bidders must acknowledge and submit bids with full understanding of the addendum requirements to be considered for award.
