About this file
This is Addendum 03 for the Lansing School District Hill Center Summer 2025 Renovations Bid Package 1, issued March 3, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original bid documents dated February 7, 2025, including approval of an automatic swing door opener substitute and requirements for tamper-proof receptacle replacements. The bid date remains unchanged and all work must be completed by August 22, 2025 for school occupancy. The scope includes electrical, fire alarm, security and controls work across multiple classrooms and spaces, with specific quantities provided for receptacle replacements: Room 210 (15), C211 (15), C211B (9), D209 (10), D210 (10), D215 (13), and D216 (7).
The addendum clarifies that BL-1 frames are to be aluminum rather than hollow metal. Bidders must provide unit pricing for replacing existing receptacles with tamper-resistant versions. A $40,000 allowance is included for owner's discretion. The work package includes installation of conduit, wiring, devices, programming and certification for electrical, fire alarm, security and access control systems. The scope specifically excludes flashing of roof penetrations (by WC 07A), painting of exposed conduit (by WC 09C), and HVAC controls and associated wiring (by WC 23A).
