About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Invitation for Price Quote #10A2714 regarding Backflow Assembly Replacement Services in San Joaquin County, dated December 23, 2024. The addendum addresses a single question about contractor licensing requirements for the project, which involves the decommissioning, removal, and disposal of one 6" and one 8" backflow prevention assembly system, as well as furnishing, installing, and commissioning new replacement systems.

The addendum specifically clarifies that a C-36 (Plumbing Contractor) license is required and that a C-34 (Pipeline Contractor) license would not be acceptable as an alternative. All other terms and conditions from the original IFPQ remain unchanged.
