About this file

This document is an Addendum (No. 2) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services and Patrick D. Murphy Co., Inc. Architects for the Jacobs Hall Window Replacement project at the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, Kentucky. The addendum modifies the original Request for Bid (RFB-203-25) by changing the official bid opening date to April 22, 2025, and provides specific modifications to the project specifications and drawings. Key changes include updates to the wood windows specifications, such as omitting certain paragraphs, replacing material references (from fir or alder to pine), and changing the window type on Sheet A.1 from Casement to Double Hung.

The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge these changes on their bid documents, with no significant alterations to pricing terms or funding sources explicitly stated. The project appears to be a state-funded facilities improvement initiative focused on window replacement at an educational institution. Bidders are directed to refer to additional documentation distributed by Lynn Imaging for comprehensive details on specifications and drawing modifications. The addendum ensures that all prospective bidders are aware of and comply with the updated project requirements before submitting their bids.
