About this file

This is Addendum 1 to bid BL116-22 issued by Gwinnett County Community Services on January 24, 2023, regarding the purchase and installation of custom park signs on an annual contract. The addendum provides clarifications to bidder inquiries concerning project specifications and materials. Key specifications include a 2.5" sleeve requirement for items 1 and 2 that must fit over 2" tubing, and the mandatory use of .090 aluminum for items 5 through 18 rather than 3mm aluminum composite. The project encompasses multiple sign categories including park rules signs (32" x 36"), interpretive signs (36" x 24"), pavilion kiosk signs (48" x 36"), wayfinding signs in various dimensions (24" x 18" through 36" x 44"), court/field number signs (12" x 18"), and miscellaneous signage. Design standards and artwork specifications are provided as attachments to the addendum, with notation that sign graphic colors may vary per order.

Bidders are required to sign and return the addendum with their bids, with failure to do so potentially resulting in the bid being deemed non-responsive. The addendum references attached design standards documentation (BL116-22 Artwork and Design Standards.pdf) and previously established transit signage artwork and design standards from a prior bid for reference. Pricing terms, contract duration, and other commercial requirements are not detailed in this addendum document itself but would be addressed in the primary bid solicitation materials.
