About this file
This is an ADA Requirements accessibility information document from the City of Tampa, Florida, applicable to a solicitation for Trash Can Liners for Inventory. The document outlines mandatory accessibility requirements for any proposers submitting bids or responses to City solicitations that involve information, media, or communication technology (ICT) products or services. The City is committed to ensuring that all resources, systems, products, and services resulting from its procurements are accessible and usable by all people, regardless of ability, and this document establishes the specific accessibility compliance standards that must be met.
Proposers must submit an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) documenting conformance to WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility requirements and Section 508 federal accessibility standards. Additionally, proposers are required to provide a Supplemental Accessibility Report describing evaluation methods, accessibility features, non-conforming functions, configuration and installation guidance, and accessible content creation capabilities. The document further requires remediation plans for non-conforming features, accessibility improvement plans, training descriptions with associated costs, and for authoring tools, samples of accessible content and live demonstrations. The City reserves the right to require proposers to demonstrate compliance and to perform hands-on testing of ICT items prior to award, with testing products to be returned at the proposer's expense unless the proposer is selected for award.
