About this file

This document is Addendum #001 for Invitation to Bid (ITB-24-010) issued by the Florida Department of Corrections for Petroleum Storage Tank Services. The addendum modifies Section 3.4 regarding prequalification requirements for vendors bidding on contracts with values of Level Four and Level Five. Vendors must submit specific documentation by January 16, March 6, 2025, including a current State Contractor's license certification and corporate charter registration. The Department will issue Prequalification Confirmation Letters to qualifying vendors, who must include this letter with their bid prior to the bid opening date of April 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The addendum emphasizes that vendors bidding on contracts in specific chapters of Florida Statutes (399, 455, 489, or 633) must be prequalified by the Department to participate in the bid process. Vendors must demonstrate their qualifications biennially, with documentation submitted to the Procurement Officer. The prequalification process ensures that vendors have the appropriate licensing, certification, and legal standing to perform petroleum storage tank services across Florida's correctional institutions. Vendors must receive a prequalification confirmation letter before the bid opening and include it with their submitted bid.
