Stamp/Annotate Documents
The Stamp/Annotate button in the Electronic Document Review System (eDRS) allows a user to apply annotations directly to documents, and to simultaneously place a stamp on one or more pages of a document.
Access the Stamp/Annotate Tools
From the Application Editor window, either:
• Navigate to an open document and click the Stamp/Annotate button in the Document Editor
Tools; see Figure 1. The Stamp/Annotate toolbar will show; see Figure 2.
• Navigate to any document in the Editor Contents tab, right-click a document row, and select
Stamp/Annotate from the expanded menu. The document will open with the Stamp/Annotate toolbar showing.
NOTE
• Once the Stamp/Annotate tools are active, the system locks the application from other users attempting to edit until the stamp or annotate actions are completed and saved.

Select Stamp Options
In the Stamp/Annotate toolbar:
1. Click the Stamping Options button;
see Figure 3.
2. Select check boxes to include the application number and/or date.
3. Select a radio button to stamp All Pages or just the Tagged Pages of a document; see Figure 3.
NOTES
• If more than one stamp is needed on different pages, users can apply page tags, use the first stamp, change the tags, and use a second stamp.

Apply a Stamp
In the Stamp/Annotate toolbar:
1. Click the Stamps button to expand the menu and select the stamp to apply;
see Figure 4.
The stamp will appear at the bottom of the page(s) and the Save button will activate.
2. If no additional stamps or annotations are needed, click the Save button;

NOTE
• The Close Original check box is checked by default. If the original document needs to remain active, uncheck the Close Original check box before saving a stamp; see Figure 4. Figure 4. Stamps Button Menu Expanded

Apply Annotations
1. Click an annotation button to select it; see Figure 5.
• Date - Insert the Receipt Date of the document.
• Name - Insert the user’s name.
• Checkmark - Insert a checkmark.
• Cross mark - Insert an x or a cross mark.
• Typewriter - Insert a text box and type on the document (120 character limit).
2. Move the mouse to the location on the document where the annotation is needed and click to apply.
The annotation will appear on the document.
3. Once applicable stamp(s) are applied and annotations are made, click the Save button.
NOTE
• The Close Original check box is checked by default. If the original document needs to remain active, uncheck the
Close Original check box before saving annotations; see Figure 4.

Move, Delete, or Cancel Stamps/Annotations
• Move a stamp/annotation
Hover over the stamp or annotation until a four-sided arrow appears; see Figure 6. Click and drag the stamp or annotation to a new location.
• Delete a single stamp/annotation
Hover over the stamp or annotation and click the X that appears in the orange square at the upper right-hand corner of the stamp or annotation; see Figure 7.
• Delete all stamps/annotations
Click the Clear all edits button on the Stamp/Annotate toolbar; see Figure 8. A confirmation message will display; click Delete All.
• Delete all stamps/annotations and close the document:
Click the Cancel button on the Stamp/Annotate toolbar; see Figure 8. A confirmation message will appear warning that all edits will be lost; click OK.
NOTE
• Once saved, the newly stamped and annotated document becomes part of the IFW and cannot be edited.
