About this file

This document is an Item Description for a federal contract solicitation detailing specific requirements for Accelerometers, Magnetic Bases, and Cables for the 76th Maintenance Squadron Group (76 MXSG) at Tinker Air Force Base. The solicitation seeks 48 units each of three key components: Wilcoxon Model 726 Compact Accelerometers, Wilcoxon MF015 Accelerometer Magnetic Mounting Bases, and Wilcoxon R1-0-J1-16 Cables, with precise technical specifications for each item.

The Wilcoxon Model 726 Compact Accelerometer requires detailed performance characteristics including 100 mV/g sensitivity, 80 g peak acceleration range, frequency response between 2.0-15,000 Hz, temperature range of -50°C to +120°C, and specific electrical and mechanical properties. The magnetic mounting base must provide 15 lb force with a 10-32 tapped hole, compatible with the Model 726, and the cable is specified as a 16-meter Microdot 10-32 coaxial cable with IP50 rating. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside under the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, with the solicitation number FA812625Q0029.
