About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the Automated Biosequence Search System (ABSS). The USPTO is conducting market research to determine if there are qualified interested contractors capable of providing a commercial enterprise software product for ABSS, as well as related support services such as license maintenance, installation, training, and operational support. The USPTO is also looking to migrate the ABSS solution from on-premise to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, which will be provided by the USPTO.
Interested parties are requested to respond in writing with details on their company's ability to deliver the ABSS solution, including information such as company name and size, contact details, teaming partners, and FedRAMP authorization status. Responses should not exceed 5 pages and should be submitted by November 4, 2024 to the specified USPTO contracting personnel. The USPTO will use the responses for informational and planning purposes, and the information may be used to support future procurements, including potential small business set-asides. The USPTO is not seeking proposals or accepting unsolicited proposals at this time.
