About this file
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for garbage service provided to the ABC Board in the state of Alabama for fiscal year 2025. The service includes removing all waste from each container, leaving each container level and in the designated space, and cleaning up any trash or debris around the container after emptying. Suppliers must bid both a monthly rate and an additional pickup rate per location to be considered for award. Contracts will be awarded by location to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications. Suppliers must submit copies of all applicable permits and licenses and provide documentation on the landfills or transfer stations they will use for disposal. Contracts are valid for the stated period or per fiscal year operations, and additional locations may be added as needed. Pricing must include all costs and fees, and will be firm for the duration of the purchase order. If a supplier defaults on the contract, the state may procure the services from other sources and the defaulting supplier will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
The state will not pay any additional fees or taxes not included in the solicitation. Invoicing must match the purchase order details, and questions regarding the service should be addressed directly to the agency. The state may cancel a purchase order if the service address is relocated or closed, with 30 days' written notice. In the event a facility is temporarily closed, the state will notify the supplier in a timely manner.
