About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of Galleon Data Offload Systems for the MQ-25A Unmanned Air System (UAS) Integrated Test Team. The government requires 2 Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems and 1 Galleon RDM Docking Station to support data migration from Galleon Aircraft Recorder Solid State Drives (SSDs) for the Engineering Development Model (EDM) aircraft. The systems will facilitate data collection from Vehicle Management System and Mission Management System computers, as well as Test and Evaluation instrumentation across multiple test locations including Mascoutah, IL; Lakehurst, NJ; Patuxent River, MD; and Navy aircraft carriers.
The MQ-25 is a carrier-based UAS designed to provide long-endurance Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and organic refueling support for the Carrier Air Wing. The procurement supplements Boeing's existing 4 Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems, with the additional 2 systems required to support test operations. The equipment must be TAA Compliant and is needed to ensure proper data decryption, migration, and system compatibility. Delivery is specified as sixteen (16) weeks after order receipt, with the specific deliverables being 1 Galleon RDM Docking Station (p/n: XSR-USB3DOCK-AES_KIT) and 2 Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems (p/n: 15U-038-900-01).

Statement of Work for:
MQ-25A Galleon Data Offload Systems
1. Background
The MQ-25A Integrated Test Team (ITT) is procuring quantity (2) Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems and quantity (1) Galleon RDM Docking Station in support of data migration from Galleon Aircraft Recorder Solid State Drives (SSDs).
2. Scope
Galleon Ethernet Data Recorders have been installed on the Engineering Development Model (EDM) aircraft for the collection of Ethernet Bus data from Vehicle Management System (VMS) and Mission Management System (MMS) Computers and analog data signals from Test and Evaluation (T&E) instrumentation installed on the aircraft. The Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems are required for download of data off the Galleon Data Recorder solid state drives (SSDs). The EDM aircraft (qty 4) will test at various locations including Mascoutah, IL; Lakehurst, NJ; Patuxent River, MD; and numerous Navy CVNs. A minimum of 6 Offload Systems are required to support MQ-25 EDM testing of 4 vehicles over the various sites while ensuring expeditious data migration to Boeing and Navy data processing environments to meet a 12-hour data access and review window as required to assure next day test preparation.
3. Objectives/Task
The MQ-25 is a system of systems that integrates the first operational carrier-based, catapult-launched Unmanned Air System (UAS) with existing aircraft carrier (CVN) systems and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems. It will provide a long-endurance Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and robust organic refueling capability, coupled with incremental precision strike, for the Carrier Air Wing (CVW). MQ-25 will significantly extend the effective mission ranges of CVW assets, alleviate the current Carrier Strike Group organic ISR shortfall, and preserve F/A-18E/F service life. This computer equipment must be TAA Compliant.
With their contract, Boeing is providing quantity 4 Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems to support data download and migration. Therefore, 2 additional offload systems are required to support the Test Tempo.
Galleon XSR Data Offload Systems are required for Galleon Ethernet Data Recorders SSD downloads due to decryption implementation, system compatibilities, and continuity of hardware. System compatibility is required to ensure proper data decryption and migration. Continuity of hardware ensures flexibility for easy exchange/replacement of various components, and reduces the configurations to be managed, spare parts, and additional personnel required to maintain the equipment and training required to do so.
