About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the procurement of multiplexer units to support Navy fleet systems.
The government seeks to procure Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) multiplexer model LM10-20/X2500 units for repair of Depot-supported systems. These nonrepairable multiplexers are mission-critical, as the Fleet cannot operate essential systems or maintain mission capability without functioning multiplexers. The contractor must have access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and will assist in modernizing classified systems, including generating and receiving classified material related to modernization techniques, equipment testing, and system performance. Security requirements are stringent: the vendor must maintain a classified facility security clearance, contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens with proper identification and maintain SECRET-level security clearances, and the vendor must safeguard classified information at the SECRET level.
Delivery shall be made to the government contact listed. The contractor must fabricate the classified component and store hardware until completion of all requirements. First Article Inspection is provided by the vendor; First Article Testing will be conducted at the NSWC Crane facility and run to the Next Higher Assembly specification. The vendor is responsible for reproducing replacement units if First Article Testing fails. The Requesting Technical Authority is Dan Steele, Code WXS, Building 3330C, 300 Highway 361, Crane, Indiana 47522-5001, telephone (812)-854-5067, email Daniel.r.steele10.civ@us.navy.mil.
