About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of a Lumistar Six Stream Telemetry Data Broadcast System and related hardware. The system will be integrated into the Real-Time Telemetry Processing System (RTPS) used for real-time flight test operations at the Atlantic Test Range.
The key requirements include: 1) A 2U rack-mounted, six-stream telemetry data broadcast system that can receive up to six independent data streams and convert them to streaming Chapter 10 Throughput Mode broadcasting in UDP format; 2) Support for IRIG-218-10 and IRIG-218-20 TMoIP formats; and 3) Six channels of 64GB data recording/playback capability. The period of performance is from award to 30 April 2024. This is a brand name, small business set-aside procurement under NAICS code 334220. Pricing and technical acceptability will be the basis of award for this firm-fixed-price contract.

Statement of Work for:
Lumistar Six Stream Telementry Data Broadcast System
1.0 Background
The Atlantic Test Range, Telemetry Branch is procuring Lumistar Six Stream Telementry Data Broadcast System w/accessories.
2.0 Scope
The Real-Time Telemetry Processing System (RTPS) provides processing and display of data which is collected and transmitted as telemetry signals from the aircraft or other test article. RTPS receives the telemetry signals, decodes each individual measurement included in the signals received, computes additional "derived measurements' needed, and makes all measurements available for display in a Project Engineer Station (PES). The actual data displays are then selected by the Flight Test Engineers according to the requirements of the specific test being conducted. RTPS operations are conducted and data processed in a sequential collection of equipment called a stream.
3.0 Objectives/Task
The Lumistar Six Stream Telemetry Data Broadcast system (LS-68-R2-M6-P4) with IRIG-218-10, IRIG-218-20 TMoIP formats (UG-218-M6-P4), and (1) six 64gb channels of data recording/playback (UG-D64-M6-P4) that will be used as a Telemetry front end processing system integrated into the Real-Time Telemetry Processing System (RTPS) for use in real-time flight test operations. Specifically, RTPS’s existing telemetry data processing systems as well as most other competing telemetry data processing systems process telemetry data as serial data in the “clock & data” format. Most telemetry acquisition equipment now transmit telemetry data in the IRIG 218-10 or 218-20 TMoIP standard. Mission needs have necessitated a backwards compatible system that can also process TMoIP data.
The equpment is required to adequately support the program for means of real-time flight support and post flight data reducation.
4.0 Delivery
A. Rack Mount, 2U height, Six Stream Telemetry Data Broadcast System. The system is designed to receive up to six independent data streams and convert each to streaming Chapter 10 Throughput Mode broadcasting UDP format to the connected LAN. Data rates up to 40 Mbps per stream are supported. The input interface to the system is either TTL or RS-422, selectable by software control.
P/N: LS-68-R2-M6-P4, Qty 1
B. Add IRIG-218-10 and IRIG-218-20 formats to LS-68-R2-M6-P4. Optional.
P/N: UG-218-M6-P4, Qty 1
C. Add data recording/playback option to the LS-68-R2-M6-P4, six channels, 64 GB per channel. Optional.
