The contract requires an OEM-approved vendor to provide yearly maintenance and upkeep on the machines, identified by asset numbers 4523A13861 (serial M15305544) and 4523A16078 (serial M15305750). The SOW specifies three types of maintenance services: Quarterly preventative maintenance (four visits per year for each machine), Annual Bridge Service (to be performed once per machine during the four-year contract period on a staggered schedule), and Annual Water Treatment System Service (WTSS). Quarterly maintenance includes inspecting ball-screws and traction drives, replacing all filters, greasing/oiling lubrication points, checking and rebuilding the high-pressure pump, inspecting or rebuilding swivels, test cuts for accuracy, and software checks. Bridge Service encompasses more comprehensive work including servo drive belt replacement, Z-axis calibration, pump rebuild, and precision recalibration of equipment axes. The contractor must furnish major pump rebuild kits, swivel repair kits, motor belts, filters, water sample kits, and lubrication materials. All work must be performed at PSNS & IMF during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays) and requires government approval for any work outside these hours.
