About this file
This is a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for an Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) project at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, covering the period from February 28, 2025 to February 27, 2026. The plan outlines specific performance requirements, standards, and surveillance methods for the contractor's maintenance and service of the EDG system.
The QASP establishes key performance metrics including: a 4-hour response time for certified mechanics to make repair/replace determinations after problem notification, a 48-hour timeline for EDG/ATS replacement after determination, and a 48-hour timeline for repairs. The contractor must provide all required pre-delivery maintenance and follow delivery instructions with proper documentation. Any deviations from performance standards must be communicated to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), who tracks compliance through service request forms and monthly reports. Non-conforming services may result in price reductions or required re-performance at no cost to the government.
