The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source award to Pentastar Aviation (7310 Highland Road, Waterford, MI 48327).
All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice effective 10/13/2023 at 12:00 pm EST. Point of contact for this requirement is

The proposed purchase order is for recurring 24-hour Hangar lease space for DEA aircraft for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only Pentastar Aviation. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), limiting sources is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Dec 2022) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and
52.212-5 (Mar 2023) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or
Executive Orders-Commercial Items.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 488118. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.
Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Request of Quotation (RFQ) is not available. In the event that proposals are received, award will be determined by identifying the offeror that provides a technically acceptable quote for the lowest evaluated price.
This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
