The National Park Service requests information from small business vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS 238160 Roofing Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M or that meets that size standard and can perform the work. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications. Submit information to the Contract Specialist, Joseph Bac, at joseph_bac@nps.gov, no later than (NLT) 2:00 PM CT on May 21, 2021.
All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.
The Work consists of the following:
Removal and replacement of the existing cedar shake shingled roof on the Freeman school, Coal Shed and Girls Privy, to include: Ice Shield (Bitumen membrane) underlayment, drainage layer, flashing, and installation of a new roof that shall be Cedar shake. No alternative may be used. This must be a Cedar Shingle at this location. Proper nails with 50-year, rust resistant must be used to install shingles.
The National Park Service anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract.
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is: between $25,000 and $100,000.
Period of Performance: 87 calendar days from Notice to Proceed
