SHIP: NAVAL SUBMARINE SUPPORT FACILITY

1. SCOPE:

TITLE: HATCH CASTING STRIP HEATERS

2. REFERENCE/PLANS:

2.1 NONE.

3. REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 The Contractor shall provide the following material:

3.1.1 P/N P114601-HP - Mini-Strip Heater Panel - High Power, with (4) fused 4RJ20 receptacles, LED Pilot lights, Percentage Timer & Power Switch.

Panel is 12Ga Steel, with a blue Powder-Coated finish. 17500 max watts per 4RJ20 outlet (4included) and max input 100 amp 440 or 480 volt 4 wire.

Quantity One (1).

3.1.2 P/N M114700 - Mini Strip Heater Power Streamer on 62.5' of 12/4 SOOW Cable. 4MJ20 Male Input plug on 47.5' lead to first tap. 6 TAPS total, spaced 3' apart. Each tap consists of 6' of 14/3, 105 Degree C. Heater cord terminating with 15FP3 Female plugs.

Quantity Four (4).

3.1.3 P/N 12460650-131B-14B15 - 12" Heater 460V 650W, 15MP3 Plug (black) on 15' of 14/3 105 degree C Black Cable, Non-Thermostatic Heater, No Cap.

Quantity Twenty-Four (24).

3.1.4 P/N M117703-012B-050-BLK - 4MJ20/4F J20 Extension, Black Molded to 50’ 12/4 SOOW Cable, Black Assembly Rated at 20 A 600 V. Quantity Eight (8).

3.3 Contractor shall Deliver/Ship (FOB Destination). Delivery must be accomplished between Monday – Friday between 0700 and 1330 EST. Delivery location is as follows:

4. NOTES:

4.1 For Contractor personnel that do not have a CAC card or a NCACS card, the following is required to obtain DBIDS credentials to gain access to the base:

a. Ensure you provide the names of personnel requiring access to the SUBASE to the NSSF POC. NSSF will pass the information to the SUBASE Pass and ID office as your government sponsor.

b. Upon arrival at SUBASE, Present valid identification, Real ID Act-compliant state driver's license. If you don’t have a Real ID compliant driver’s license, you can use a passport. If you don’t have a passport, you will be required to have an original birth certificate and your social security card (not just your number).

c. Present a completed copy of the SECNAV 5512/1 form to obtain your background check. A copy of SECNAV 5512/1 can be obtained by contacting the NSSF POC.

d. Upon completion of the background check, the Visitor Control Center representative will complete the DBIDS enrollment process, which includes your photo, fingerprints, base restrictions, and several other assessments; after all this is done, you will be provided with your new DBIDS credential. You may now proceed to enter the base.
