| Text3: Agassiz Seed provides seed, however, they could not provide the required seeds for this project. | |
| Text2: The seed mix requirement was sent to Chesak Seed House and Agassiz Seed. Both vendors provided quotes, however, the quote from Agassiz did not include all the varieties needed and the seed had not been propogated in the similiar climate conditions as required. | |
| Text1: Audubon NWR has a requirement for native grass/forb seed for the Dockter WPA reseeding project. It is imperative that only native plant seeds are used for this reseeding project in order to resemble the historic plant community that would typically be found in this landscape. The seed procured must also be grown/cultivated in similar climate conditions to the Dockter WPA. | |
| Text4: Future requirements will give all capable seed vendors the opportunity to quote. | |
| Text6: Quotes were provided by both Chesak Seed House and Agassiz Seed. The quote provided by Chesak was lower and they were able to provide all seed required from native, local sources. | |
