About this file
This is a Limited Sources Documentation form used to justify non-competitive acquisitions between $10,000 and $250,000. The document certifies that only one responsible source is reasonably available for the required supplies or services.
The acquisition (Purchase Request D-26-SS-0042) is for specialized laboratory furniture customized to meet the mission requirements at EPIC, with delivery required by September 1, 2026. The vendor will supply modular, adjustable furniture designed to accommodate unique and specific instrumentation. Market research was conducted but limited due to urgent mission requirements; other vendors were evaluated but could not meet the technical specifications and schedule without unacceptable delays. The contracting officer certifies that only one source is reasonably available, the price will be determined fair and reasonable, and the documentation will be posted in the Governmentwide Point of Entry if the acquisition exceeds $25,000. The contract specialist and contracting officer, both from the FAIS office, signed the documentation on June 30, 2026.
