SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY)

Buffalo National River – Tyler Bend Sewer and Launch Renovation (Reference 140P6224B0001)

The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Buffalo National River, Harrison AR, is conducting market research to find interested sources capable of successfully performing the following work:

Provide all labor, qualified supervision, products, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, incidentals, and other services and expertise necessary to: Install a new dual pump sewage lift station and valve vault with automatic controls/flow measurement and new force main at Tyler Bend comfort station. This Tyler Bend project also consists of constructing a new 500-foot roadway segment to connect the existing roadway with the existing parking area in a one-way loop. The existing cutoff wall, riprap and the debris in the launch area will be removed and the area will be re-graded and restored to its original condition prior to the construction of the loop. An existing restroom and the existing sewer lift station that was constructed in the flood plain of the river will be demolished and removed.

The NAICS code for this project is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45.0M. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The period of performance of the project will be 175 calendar days from receipt of a Notice to Proceed.

All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer may make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.

This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on www.Sam.gov

Interested contractors having capabilities and experience necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide company information in the format of a narrative that demonstrates company experience/capabilities to Jason Burdett, Contracting Officer: jason_burdett@nps.gov.

Responses shall also include the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, socio-economic status, provide UEI number, and proof of SAM Registration. All relevant input is encouraged. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided.
