· Provide facility management by individuals who are knowledgeable and experienced about the behavior and nutritional requirements of wild burros.

· Maintain fences and keep animals on offered lands and prevent animals from escaping onto neighboring lands.

· Gather and move wild burros from corral to corral, and pasture to corral as needed, supervise their health and welfare, provide supplementary feed as needed and maintain the facilities in a safe condition.

· The corral facilities must be capable of holding 500 wild burros, with pastures located adjacent to the corrals to be used after an acclimation period of 10 - 14 days. The facility can have a mixture of wild burros in the corrals and pastures at any given time.

· Provide all corrals, loading chutes and adequate facilities necessary to prepare animals for adoption, sale, transfer and shipment to other off-range corral locations.

· Provide a record keeping system that identifies the pen location, sex, age group, and quantity to include per pen and/or pasture of inventory animals.
