SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY)
Collection Storage Building Rehab Badlands National Park Interior, South Dakota (Reference 140P6323B00014)
The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.
We are seeking contractors interested in performing rehabilitation construction services on a collection storage building located at Badlands National Park, Interior South Dakota.
Project Description: The Collection Storage building was built in 2005 and is a combination of cast in place concrete, CMU and steel structure. The building is used by both the Badlands National Park (BADL) and Minute Man Missile National Historic Site (MIMI). The goal of this project is to make the current structure more adept at maintaining better control of temperature and relative humidity, while increasing the security by updating the fire suppression system. Work Consists of HVAC replacement and improvements, ductwork revisions, hollow metal doors and hardware, fire sprinkler modifications.

Project Period: The performance period is anticipated to be 365 calendar days, after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on be SAM.gov, http://www.sam.gov.
Magnitude: The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000
The associated NAICS code is 238220 HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning contractors). The small business size standard is $19 million.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: New size standards were updated effective December 19, 2022. Businesses registered in System for Award Management (SAM.gov) must update their SAM registration in order to have their small business status updated based on the new size standards. SAM profiles will continue to display the small business status under the old size standards until SAM registration is updated.
