SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY)

Install Propane Generator (Reference 140P6322Q0027)

The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.

This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on SAM.gov, (www.SAM.gov).

Project Description: This project is located at the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site located at Phillip, SD. The work for this project consists of installing a 100-kW propane fuel generator, a 1,000-gallon propane tank, concrete pads, 800-amp automatic transfer switch with a service connect, correctly sized copper electrical wire, conduit and propane gas lines.

Project Schedule: This project’s period of performance is 90 calendar days with an estimated award date of July 2022 and an onsite start date of August 2022.

Magnitude: The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.

The associated NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors & Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 million.
