SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY)
Minuteman Missile Site – Replace HVAC System (Reference 140P6321B0012)
The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.
We are seeking to determine contractor interest in support of the replacement of the elevator electrical circuit at Minuteman Missile Delta-01 Launch Control Facility at Phillip, SD 57567.
Project Schedule: We anticipate that work will begin September 2021 and that the project will have a total performance period of 90 calendar days.
This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on beta.SAM.gov, (www.beta.SAM.gov).
Project Description: The work of the project consists of the replacement of the heating and cooling system. Existing components of boiler room (moth-balled existing boiler, piping, radiators, and components) will remain as a static display for historical purposes. Removal of piping above suspended ceiling tiles, existing air handlers above the suspended ceiling. Installation of new piping for heating and cooling, new boiler system, new air-cooled condenser, new handlers capable of heating and cooling the site.
Magnitude: The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
