About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) issued by the National Park Service (NPS) for the Rehabilitate Park Bathhouses project, Solicitation Number 140P2024R0161. The purpose of this SSN is to conduct market research and obtain industry information to develop an acquisition strategy for a forthcoming competitive solicitation, which the NPS anticipates releasing in the summer of 2023.
The project, valued at over $10 million, involves strategic pre-rehabilitation of the historic Maurice and Libbey bathhouses at Hot Springs National Park to prepare them for adaptive reuse. The work includes restoring, rehabilitating, or replacing numerous critical building systems and features, as well as fully replacing the roofs on the bathhouses and an adjacent Buckstaff bathhouse. The goal is to significantly reduce the park's future operations and maintenance costs while providing new visitor experiences and potential lease revenue. The NPS is seeking responses from interested businesses, including small businesses, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and EDWOSB firms, demonstrating their experience and capability on similar projects. Responses are due by noon MT on July 12, 2024 and should be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Edwin Berry, at edwin_berry@nps.gov.
