About this file

This Sources Sought Notice is for Hospital Laundry Services at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, Montana, issued by the Indian Health Service (IHS). The procurement is specifically targeted for Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) under the Buy Indian Act, with a NAICS code of 812332 and a size standard of $41.5 million. The hospital processes approximately 49,000 pounds of soiled linen annually at a 24-bed facility, and requires a contractor capable of providing comprehensive laundry services including personnel, equipment, transportation, and materials.

The notice requires interested firms to submit a detailed response by July 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm MDT, including company information, contact details, contract numbers, tax ID, business category, and a two-page capability statement demonstrating qualifications specific to hospital laundry services. Respondents must also complete an IHS Indian Economic Enterprise Representation form and identify the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Corporation supporting their enterprise status. This is a market research effort to determine compliance with the Buy Indian Act and potential set-aside, not an actual Request for Quote, with the goal of identifying qualified Native American-owned businesses to provide the required laundry services.
