Normal duty hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, USFWS Technical Coordinator Jeremiah Holland and/or Refuge staff will inspect products to verify undamaged condition.

SPECIFICATIONS
Sequoyah NWR
Ammunition
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Invasive Species Program has a requirement to purchase lead free ammunition to invasive species across various wildlife refuges.
The vendor shall supply the requested amounts of the following ammunition OR EQUAL
PRODUCTS; to be considered equal, products must have the identified “SALIENT
CHARACTERISTICS” and be suitable for the specific application uses.
Only lead-free ammunition will be accepted.
PRODUCT FEATURES
ITEM 1
Name of Item: .308, non-lead ammunition
Quantity: 1000 rounds
Salient Characteristics: Products must be 100% non-lead, 165 grain projectile, Muzzle
Velocity of 2611 fps, .308 caliber capable of being fired from a Remington 700 rifle. All proposed products must expand or fracture upon impact, and proposed products will be reviewed by USFWS personnel to ensure product applicability.
Other: Loose ammunition, boxes, or ammo cans are all acceptable.
ITEM 2
Name of Item: 2 ¾ 12 gauge "00" buck, non lead
Quantity: 250 rounds
Salient Characteristics: Products must be 100% non-lead 2 ¾ 12 gauge "00" buck shot capable of being fired from a Remington Model 870. All proposed products will be reviewed by USFWS personnel to ensure product applicability.
Other: Loose ammunition, boxes, or ammo cans are all acceptable.
ITEM 3
Name of Item: .22 long rifle, non lead
Quantity: 1000 rounds
Salient Characteristics: Products must be 100% non-lead .22 long rifle capable of being fired from a Ruger 10-22. All proposed products must expand or fracture upon impact, and proposed products will be reviewed by USFWS personnel to ensure product applicability.
Other: Loose ammunition, boxes, or ammo cans are all acceptable.
ITEM 4
Name of Item: .223 (Remington or equal), non lead
Quantity: 500 rounds
Salient Characteristics: Products must be 100% non-lead, .223 (Remington or equal) capable of being fired from a Ruger Mini 14 rifle. All proposed products must expand or fracture upon impact, and proposed products will be reviewed by USFWS personnel to ensure product applicability.
Other: Loose ammunition, boxes, or ammo cans are all acceptable.
DELIVERY AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Vendor shall arrange delivery to:

Products shall be delivered within 30 days of contract award.
Normal duty hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
USFWS normal non-duty hours include nights, weekends, and government holidays (including
Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Martin Luther
King Jr. Day). In the event of emergencies, the vendor shall provide contact information.
The vendor shall notify and confirm a delivery time at least 24 hours prior to delivery.
INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE
The USFWS Technical Coordinator and/or Refuge staff shall inspect products upon arrival to ensure undamaged condition.
