Statement of Work
The Bureau of Land Management Miles City Field Office has a need to replace a vault toilet. The vault toilet is located at Clark Reservoir Recreation Area, which is approximately 25 miles northwest of Terry, Montana. The road providing access to the area is State Highway 253 and Cherry Creek Road. It is the
Government’s intention to install a new concrete, single vault toilet. The Contractor shall be responsible for preparing the site and installation of the new toilet.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the site preparation and installation of the new vault toilet. This work shall be in accordance with the vault toilet manufacturers recommended installation procedures.
This work includes but not limited to, excavation, installation of bedding material, setting vault, setting building, and backfill all to be included in the lump sum price for the new toilet.
A site tour is recommended for the manufacturer to understand the existing site conditions. No monies will be added to the contract due to issues that arise from the Contractors lack of understanding of the existing site conditions. The Contractor must work with the Government to establish a construction schedule to assure a smooth installation of the new vault toilet per Section MT ‐034000 – Precast
Concrete Vault Toilet specifications.
